Dear No Name, Octopuses have eight legs because they had two legs from the very beginning. Then one day, an octopus was swimming. Three other octopuses were swimming when they had a collision with everyone but formed only one giant head, therefore, forming the eight-legged wonder! (Ok, those were just my thoughts. <_<) -Wertie
